I got together with my friend Mel for another shoot, this time for an Aussie themes Australia Day idea. This one was run in newspapers around the country, and even made it to "The Punch" online and a different version of it was run in the NT News here in Darwin.

Description: Mel kindly posed for these as part of a 'pretend photoshoot' staged for visiting Australian film producer Owen Elliott. Owen was stopping over in Darwin and wanted to do an interview with me about how I started in the world of photography and video production. We thought we would set up a mini shoot so he could see how we worked together on-set and also how the models found working with me on projects too.

I had Mel around the next day to do some personal shots as well so we thought we might try something a little different to send around to remind people Australia Day was just around the corner!

Description: This one was almost a candid of Mel, taken whilst on a break. We were shooting a magazine release promo for Australian Trailrider and did a few snaps whilst we had the black acrylic out on the floor to get a nice reflection.

Description: More glorious Darwin dry season shoots, this time with the lovely Mel Bridge. Lee Point is fast becoming my favourite beach to shoot at lately and is a great way to take in the awesome sunsets. Thanks to Mel for putting up with the slightly chilly water tonight, we got some great shots out of it and the sunset colours this time of year are fantastic!
