Fresh fresh chillies, Darwin has a good supply of them in all shapes and sizes. As a photographer occasionally you get the chance to cook AND take photos at the same time.
Completely off-the-cuff, this food shot was not set up for anything even remotely commercial. Straight after this was taken all that produce went straight in the mortar and pestle to make a paste for the curry pot.
Usually a fan of the hotter chillies, this curry was on the milder side of my palate but I couldn't resist the glossy red and green of the ball peppers. It was almost a shame to transform them from this ... almost.
